Senior advisor Viivi Lähteenoja

Viivi serves as a senior advisor for MyData Global in the areas of global and EU policy and the development of MyData thought leadership.

She’s been involved with MyData since 2016 and was a member of the core team that founded MyData Global as a nonprofit association in 2018. She has previously held the roles of deputy general manager and head of programmes at MyData Global.

As of June 2020, Viivi has been working as a special advisor for the city of Helsinki, Finland, in the area of data policy. In this capacity, she was seconded to the World Economic Forum‘s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) as a data policy fellow. At C4IR, she leads a project entitled Empowered Data Societies, which aims to develop human-centric data policy to address old problems in data availability in innovative new ways.
