Seminar Series: Digital Rules, Human Values

20 Nov at 2:00 pm 3:00 pm CET

The Global Initiative for Digital Empowerment (GIDE), in collaboration with the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI), MyData Global, and the Global Solutions Initiative (GSI), is launching Digital Rules, Human Values, a 2025–2026 global seminar series on human-centred digital governance.

This series brings together global leaders and practitioners working to develop digital governance that serves human welfare. It explores practical ways to make digital systems and markets more accountable, inclusive, and aligned with human values.

The seminar series begins on November 20, 2025, and continues on the first and third Thursdays of each month through 2026. Every even-numbered session will feature MyData Awardees.

Sessions begin November 20, 2025 | Online | 1 PM UTC
Spots are limited. Register now.

Invited speakers include world-leading policymakers, companies and practitioners, rights advocates, regulators, NGOs and multilateral organisations.

The overarching theme is building a digital economy that serves human welfare. Speakers will share practical ideas to make the rules of online markets more responsive to the broad interests of humans, not just businesses and governments.

The series builds on GIDE’s Innovation in the Digital Economy Architecture (IDEA) framework.

Key themes include:

  • Data Governance and individual agency
  • Emerging models and regional perspectives
  • Global cooperation and geopolitics
  • Digital economy and labour governance
