MyData is a vision, a series of principles, a movement, and a conference. Our objective is to develop awareness of how we, as individuals, can have more control over the data that describes us, and of the data trails we leave behind us in our everyday life. Find the episodes here.
Molly Schwartz is an Audio Producer and Studio Manager at the Metropolitan New York Library Council (METRO). Besides being a librarian, she does freelance reporting on tech and society, and she is also the host and producer of METRO’s podcast, Library Bytegeist. She has worked in digital accessibility and data analytics for the Library of Congress, the U.S. State Department, and the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology.
To relax she listens to podcasts about old Hollywood. To un-relax she watches the HBO science fiction series Westworld. She daydreams about visiting Bokhara and getting a pet pot-bellied pig.
