Marko Turpeinen from 1001 Lakes shares insights about the Rulebook model – a planning and development tool for data sharing, developed through Sitra’s fair data economy program. The Rulebook model and MyData for Cities approach was used to explore potential new services, as part of MyData Global’s Human-Centric Companies and Cities (H3C) project.
This blog post considers the fundamental question of whether data monetisation as we know it leads towards more fairness, more sustainability, and more prosperity for all. As this is a complex and often polarising issue, it must be discussed with patience, diligence, and determination. MyData Global has not yet reached a position on the topic. In this piece, we share our considerations and questions, and hope to inspire you to join this important deliberation.
